The registration process is quick and easy, requiring only essential information such as your name and email address. In order to complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email, and your account will be activated shortly thereafter.
Once you complete your registration, you will immediately be able to browse the entire range of API products and resources available on the portal. Your account not only provides access to comprehensive API documentation but also customizes your user experience. As a registered user, you can manage your subscriptions, enabling you to easily explore our API services and confidently start your development journey.
As a Michelin user, you can connect with your MichelinId. You will have access to internal API products and specific documentation that will guide you in publishing a new API product.
Private data is managed in compliance with GDPR regulations. For detailed information, please refer to our policy page. Please note that any inactive applications or users will be disabled after more than 6 months of inactivity. Additionally, applications will be completely removed after 12 months of inactivity. Users will be notified via email prior to any action being taken.

The platform presents a well-organized layout with detailed and comprehensive documentation, helping you understand the various APIs' functionalities and applications. Each product is presented with a clear format that outlines its functionalities, technical specifications, documentation, and guidelines. They are categorized into sections such as Sales, AI, and Guidance, and can be searched using specific keywords.
If you are unable to find any API product that meets your requirements, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with details of your specific use case.
Subscribe
After reviewing the available API products and identifying the relevant ones, the next step is to select a usage plan and subscribe to those that align with your development needs.
We provide a range of plans based on the API products, including a free trial, limited and unlimited options, paid plans, and a “request to subscribe” plan. Depending on the plan, you will connect to specific data environments, such as test or production data. Trial plan is appropriate for testing the format of request/response.
By selecting the appropriate plan, you will obtain access to the essential resources and support for your projects. For more information about plans, please refer to our plan of usage page. We recommend using 1 plan subscription per application. Once the plan has been approved, you will receive your credentials, enabling you to make your first API call.
Test your API
Utilize the testing tools available of your choice to experiment with the APIs.
This hands-on experience is fundamental for understanding how the APIs function and how they can be integrated into your application. During this testing phase, you can explore different endpoints from the OpenAPI specification tab, examine response formats, and validate the data returned by the API. By identifying potential issues early on, you can refine your application and ensure that it meets your specifications before moving forward with the development process. This step fosters confidence in your integration efforts and helps streamline your application-building journey.

Build your Application
With everything in place, you can now start building your application around the chosen APIs. This step involves coding and integrating the APIs into your application architecture, allowing you to leverage the functionality of the APIs to create robust features and enhancements.
The Developer Portal provides support documentation to guide you through this process, ensuring you have the resources needed for effective implementation.
