Logistic EXperience is an interface between internal Michelin supply chain and external logistic partners.
It is based on an event driven and micro-service architecture, each micro-service hosted in LEX can be viewed as a set of API for a specific functionality.
Message sent by LEX system are designed with a standard message format.
3 Major Business Cases
- The Track & Trace API are developed to consume tracking message from carrier about Michelin goods status and location during transport.
- The Booking API expose Michelin transport request to the carrier and collect all details about trip booking confirmation.
- The Order Execution API expose all mandatory messages expected for 3PL Warehouse management
